The place in which I found this driftwood is a personal place of power and healing. I have gratefully found transition, laughter, clarity, and witnessed many a life altering sunsets with humans that I hold so dear to my heart along it's rocky shoreline. I have received abundant gifts in the forms of stones and beach wash trinkets that always offer wholehearted messages toward my path ahead. May this book embody that and more, offering a place of safety, curiosity, and abundant love for the soul that it comes to help hold
As an ode to the ocean, the name of the book is inspired by Jhené Aiko's song "Blue Dream" ~
"Don't wake me up 'cause I'm in love with all that you are
You make me see the truth in things, I think that you are
The remedy for everything it seems that you are
The truth itself 'cause nothing else can take me so far"
